The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (also known as UNC Charlotte) is a public, coeducational, doctoral/research university located in Charlotte, North Carolina, one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas and second largest banking center in the United States. Today, the university is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the Nation's Top 10 Up and Coming Universities. The university is projected to have 35,000 students by 2020 and is one of the largest and fastest growing schools in the 17 institution University of North Carolina System. UNC Charlotte has four campuses, the main campus is located in University City.
