USMLE Neuroscience Review Mícheál Macken MD MRCPI Department of Neurology Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine

This presentation segment shows a great example of Simplifing the case H & P into a few words Using opportunities in a case to reinforce previously learned medical school topics (e.g. the Anatomy Quiz) Embeding audio/visual aids, that is acceptable for these presentations! (the SGS rooms should be equipped to broadcast audio) Again, the use of humor really keeps students engaged! Best viewed as a slidshow! F5!

This presentation is a example of a good presentation that highlights key history and findings in each case, identifying select histological and pathological features, and summarizing the case in an effective manner.

This segment of a presentation demonstrates a great example of Giving a description of the pathology slides Discussing the cellular processes that are not directly explained in the case (e.g. how neutrophils kill…) Add humor, necessary to keep your listeners awake!
