Høgskolen i Molde (Molde University College)

Høgskolen i Molde, vitenskapelig høgskole i logistikk (HiMolde) ble godkjent som vitenskapelig høgskole i logistikk 1. januar 2010 og ble etablert som høgskole i 1. august 1994. Høgskolen i Molde var resultatet av at Distriktshøgskolen i Molde og Sykepleierhøgskolen i Molde ble slått sammen som en del av Høgskolereformen i 1994. I dag har Høgskolen vel omkring 1800 studenter og 140 tilsatte. Høgskolen tilbyr fag- og profesjonsstudier innen helse- og sosialfag, økonomi, idrettsledelse, informatikk og samfunnsfag. Skolen er kanskje mest kjent for sine studier innen transportøkonomi og logistikk. Disse kan tas i varierende lengder fra halvårsenheter til bachelorgrader, mastergrader og enkelte doktorgradstudier, samt en rekke kurs-, etter- og videreutdanninger.
Molde University College is a Norwegian university college located in Molde. The school offers higher education within business administration, transport economics, logistics, information technology and nursing. Degrees are offered both at Bachelor, Master of Science and doctorate level. The university college is the national specialty university for logistics in Norway. It has both campuses in Molde and in Kristiansund. Located at the campus in Molde is Møre Research, one of the leading research institutions within logistics and transport economics in Norway.

Boka har store variasjon fra utgave til utgave. Forsøker å være ”in”. Litt uheldig for en lærebok, siden vi ønsker å få fram det fundamentale. Skal derfor gå både bakover (i forhold til boka9 og framover, for å gi større perspektiv på det som sies. Ellers er det interessant å se hvor storee omskiftninger det er innen dette fagområdet. Ett år skal alle satse på BPR, neste år på eBusiness. Også åpenbart at eBusiness vil bli nedtonet i neste utgave. Likevel, god bok, men blir bedre om vi tar litt større perspektiv.
