This one hour, presenter ready, module was developed at the recommendation of the Professional Development Committee at the June, 2009 meeting.
Besides the obvious first day tips, the purpose of this module is to:
provide faculty with take-a-way resources (teaching strategies and class session plan)
provide new faculty with a precursor to subsequent PD including Reflective Teaching Practice, Connecting with Students, etc.
