King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) is the first public university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the middle east region specialized in health sciences. It is located in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia and occupy an area of 5 million square meter (5,000,000 m2) in the eastern part of the city beside King Abdulaziz Medical City. The establishment of KSAU-HS was announced by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques "King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz" on 16/03/1426 H corresponding to 25/04/2005 G. King Abdulaziz Medical City has been the nucleus of KSAU-HS that gradually moved from being a health institution offering state-of-the-art medical services to a distinguished and pioneering academic institution entitled King Abdulaziz Medical City Academy for Health Sciences - National Guard.
