The purpose of this video is to address the false Grace theology that has become very popular. Such doctrines tickle ears and teach positions that are contrary to godliness and a walk of holiness. The truth will set you free, the lies will lead to a pit.
We absolutely are saved by the gift of grace. Essential details in how to receive this gift and live by it have been removed from the apostate churches Salvation thru Grace is a free gift from God
Romans 9:15 I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.
The MERCY of God, aka the unmerited favor of God; is certainly part of His Grace. God Forgives God Gives New Life
Yet GRACE has been perverted to justify worldly and unrighteousness living. Let the truth be told! God Saves All Who Will Be Saved It Is Not By Our Works
Let’s start with the basics. What is Grace? Let’s look in God’s dictionary, the Holy Scriptures
Titus 2:11 For the GRACE OF GOD that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age
Grace appears to ALL MEN Grace teaches men: To say NO TO SIN To choose to live righteously
Grace is given in His mercy, yet grace is the power of God inside of us
Titus 2:14 - Christ gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Grace is what purifies us and sanctifies Jesus’ Bride It is more than forgiveness, it is the POWER to overcome sin
Titus 2:15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.
We are to speak this definition of Grace to all
We can do NOTHING by ourselves. In our own flesh we cannot obey the Lord’s commandments and do His Will. Works of the flesh are filthy rags to God and do not save us. Only Jesus saves by His grace.
But with God all things are possible. Even obeying His commands We need to have faith, to really believe His Word and not trust in our own flesh When we let Him lead, there is no temptation we cannot overcome Come Peter
Paul’s famous passage to the faithful in Ephesus Notice it is expressed as past tense, having already happened Let’s understand the context and get clear on what this really says
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air
Ephesians 2:1-2 The people Paul was speaking to did not practice sin anymore. That was all in their past!!! Do you see that here?
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts
Ephesians 2:3 These faithful followers used to practice sin but they did not anymore!! We all WERE sinners
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions— it is by grace you have been saved.
Ephesians 2:4 God in His love and mercy transforms us from our dead sinful state and saves us by His power. This unmerited power is GRACE.
Evidence one is saved by grace is that all the evil and sinful things they once did, they do not practice any more. Faith gives us access to this grace and imparts both the desire and ability to obey the one we call LORD. It is Christ working inside -- guiding us into righteousness
Without Grace … Without the Power of God Inside of Us … No man could overcome sin No man could be justified No man could be sanctified If we don’t do these things, our faith is not genuine and we will not enter the kingdom
2 Peter 1 - His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. The Grace of God is the divine power of God inside of us Grace is all we need to love Jesus and obey Him
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand Faith gives us access to the divine power of God to help us overcome sin and the lusts of the flesh
