What is Telemedicine?
In the context of this project, Telemedicine covers performing certain tasks related to medical care over a distance
It also covers providing monitoring and support on the equipment needed for the medical tasks
Previous years work
A master thesis was made as a pre-study
A CSD first project as a proof of concept followed
Next year CSD project made a pilot implementation of the Telemed platform
We are entering the critical phase of the project in the incoming three years
The Goals of Our Project
On the client side:
Develop more biomedical device modules
Examine the possibilities to use BlueTooth technology On the server side:
Create message processing capabilities for the information provided by the devices
Through the usage of database connectivity, create tools to provide graphs over individuals’ and groups’ health status over time
